How's my Chinese New Year?

On the Eve.
I drove off from office at around 12pm....i drive home happily never realise i've forgotten my milk in the fridge and when i reached USJ Summit Square I just recalled. Hik Hik have to U-turn back as i'll be on leave for few days i don't think the milk can last so long. As the result I reached home at 2pm. Yeah I've missed out the prayers. i'm in pressed for time as we need to go for Pot Luck Reunion dinner at Ah Mah's house in 3 hours time. I quickly prepare my dish-Hock Chew Fish Belly Hot & Spicy Soup. Phiew finished it in 2 and half hours. Then I dress up Ethan then myself. Hooray...Here we go its Ethan first time celebrating Chinese New Year with us....once we reach Ah Mah's house whole bunch of kids rush to us and hollered...and Ethan got a shock and he cried....cry non-stop...then i tell my hubby we gotta go home I think Ethan is not in a good mood. Yup when we reached home Ethan is still crying...it lasted for almost 2 hours then he settle down sleeping in my room. Haha...guess what me and Ethan spent our eve at home all alone just both of us. What a quiet CNY.

On the first day

Hrm...time does sail huh? Just in a nick of time Chinese New Year have gone so far, it's already the 7th day now. How's my 1st day? Well as a wife I have to stay at my hubby's place on the first day. Every year on that day his house door always open widely welcoming ppl from all races, these people includes friends and close & far relatives. Guest will get to enjoy good foods like briyani, all sorts of curries, fried mee hoon and mee, home made cakes by my sister in law Lily(yes never deny she's good in bakery) and not forgetting snacks - bee hives, kueh kar pek, muruku's, nuts & lots more.

On that day I woke up kinda early coz I need to prepare Ethan...haha I put him in a red shirt with red mittens & booties..oh yes he look handsome and smart! Haha...he got lots of people's attention and when he smiled Ooohh...everybody's heart melted. Haha....Ethan u behave really well that day. Bravo! Anyway he always did =) I shall say he's a smiley baby and sometimes kinda fierce too.

I spent that day by just went upstair when Ethan need to sleep and to be milk & bring him downstair after he woke up from his sleep. Our day ended at around 8pm. The house was empty by then. Everybody had went somewhere. Left out Ethan-sleeping in the room, my hubby-drinking with friends and I hehe watching Amazing Race Asia....
